The Ceahlau Mountains in Romania


The Ceahalau Mountains in Romania are part of the Bistriţa Mountains range of the Eastern Carpathians division. The two major peaks peaks are Toaca and Ocolaşul Mare both standing over 1900 meters. The Ceahalau Mountains are known to locals as “The Romanain Olympus.”
